Who doesn’t love a good outdoor movie night in the summer?  Luckily for Southie residents, there are many opportunities to catch a movie! So grab a blanket and some movie snacks and head over to one of these locations. 

The Boston Harbor Hotel Summer in the City has some great options for family-friendly movies. On July 12th, the Boston Harbor Hotel will be screening Disney movie Moana starting at dusk.  Attendees are welcome to dine in before at Rowe’s Wharf Sea Grille for light refreshments al fresco. The Boston Harbor Hotel is also offering a showing of the classic Jurassic Park on July 19th, so send your teens down for the night!

If you’re looking to make the venture down to the Prudential Center, they offer free outdoor movies every Saturday night.  If there is a possibility of thunderstorms, all movies will be rescheduled for the following Tuesday night at sundown.

On July 20th, grab a blanket or a chair and head down to M St Beach at dusk for a showing of the new Nickolodeon, children’s movie, Wonder Park, brought to you by Hub Church of Boston.

Mayor Walsh’s Summer in the Parks Movie Series by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department is making it’s way over to Moakley Park.  On August 12th at dusk, Ralph Breaks the Internet will be on the big screen in the park, mark your calendars for an end of summer treat!
