Meet Cash – the mini-pig

Mystery solved.

We put out a call to action and you answered! Last week, photos of an adorable little pig at M Street Park were sent to us and we had questions.  Well, we are happy to report, the pig’s owner has reached out to us!

Meet Cashew – Cash for short – a 9 pound, 10 week old mini pig!  Owner – Keyon (a former Dorchester and South Boston resident) received him for his 31st birthday recently.  Keyon has wanted a pig for a decade so it was a birthday wish come true.  Cash is a pig who loves adventure and exploring new neighborhoods – including Southie’s M Street Park last week.

Currently, Cash lives in Braintree with his owners Keyon and Shikha and Luna, a 3-year old husky.

Cash is vegetarian and is being trained as an indoor pig.  Keyon even built a stye in his bedroom.  Cash will grow to be 80-100 pounds.
