Lawn on D: Swinging into the 5th Season!
We’re beyond excited to announce that The Lawn On D (Powered by Citizens Bank) will open for its fifth season on May 1st! This year’s lineup includes weekly themed parties, movie nights, live bands, a variety of pop-up activities and contests, as well as crowd favorites like Jaws On D (we love this event), Flannel Friday, Guinness & Oyster Fest, and more! Building on last year’s tradition, they’re kicking off the season with a Cinco De Mayo celebration (May 4th & 5th), featuring a selection of Latin and Mariachi bands, food & beverage specials,and fun activities for the community.
Here’s the lineup of the Signature Event Series, including some of the most popular family events from last season, along with new additions:
• May 19 – Swing into Spring – The Lawn On D’s traditional Opening Day celebration
• NEW! June 16 – Lawn of Champions featuring Citizens Bank Community Partners – The Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, and Patriots will bring a collection of championship trophies and interactive experiences to The Lawn On D. Plus fun activities and programming courtesy of Citizens Bank community partners from throughout the city.
• July 7 –Summer Block Party – One of 2017’s most popular events returns, featuring bubble soccer, mini golf, salsa dancing, rock climbing, and a “drum-off” with special guests, Blue Man Group!
• October 27 – Pumpkin Palooza – Tons of Halloween fun for all ages made this event a definite favorite from The Lawn On D’s 2017 season!

Guests of The Lawn On D will enjoy Rebel Restaurants’ expanded menu, plus more food and beverage ordering stations and a pick up area for food. The Lawn On D’s most iconic feature, Swing Time, will boast a new look with swing colors changing from blue to pink when in movement as a throwback to when The Lawn On D first opened in 2014.
