Looks like Dorchester native and movie star Mark Wahlberg was back in Southie – this time to film an interview for Sunday Today with Willie Geist.  They filmed it at Grand Ten Distillery in South Boston.  Topics of discussion include his start with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, stardom,  fatherhood, his Catholic faith, his insane schedule to his new movie “Instant Family.”   You can check out the interview here!

One call out.  Why can’t people from outside of Boston get their head around the fact that Dorchester and South Boston are two separate neighborhoods?  In the opening of the interview, Geist describes Wahlberg as growing up in the Dorchester section of South Boston.

If you haven’t checked out Grand Ten Distilling yet you should!  Check out their website here!  They have lots of fun events, tours, a cocktail bar, and plenty booze made right here in Southie!

If the The Seaport = South Boston, then Dorchester = South Boston.
