Polka Dog Bakery at Target

Our neighboring South End dog bakery Polka Dog Bakery (256 Shawmut Ave) hits the spot at Target!  Beginning May 6th, nationwide Target stores will carry goods from Polka Dog including dog treats like Snickerpoodles Biscuits and The Big Dig Cheese Flavor Biscuits, as well as colorful leashes and toys with prices ranging from $1.99 to $14.99.

The collaboration with Polka Dog is part of Target’s new Shops at Target promotion, a partnership with five boutiques from all over the United States.  The other shops included in this venture are:

  • The Candy Store, a San Francisco candy boutique
  • Cos Bar, an Aspen-based shop that sells body care products
  • Privet House, a home decor and accessories shop in Connecticut
  • The Webster, a Miami luxury fashion boutique

Lucky dog!

Insider’ s tip:  You can buy Polka Dog treats for your pooch right here in Southie at BYOD (617 East Broadway).  Who knew?

Hey guys – Love catching up on your posts and I saw this one.  Just wanted to let you know, we actually make our treats IN Southie at the Polka Dog Treat Factory.  We don’t have a store here, but everything is made fresh in Southie:) So, for those walking their pups down K Street getting a whiff of peanut butter, or if your dog starts pulling in the direction of King Terminal…that’s why.  We’re cooking up a storm in Southie.
