Numerous Break ins

After a slew of break ins in South Boston over the last several weeks, the Boston police have beefed up patrols in the neighborhood.  The break ins have happened mainly in the area from G Street to P Street and from East Fourth to Columbia Road.  In particular, there have been many on East Eighth Street.

Be on the lookout for Boston’s finest in car and on foot helping to keep our streets safe.  Remember to lock your doors and windows and if you see something, say something.

You can report any suspicious activity to 1-800-494-TIPS.

Be safe, Southie!

I saw two males between the ages of 20 -30 , dressed casual, and in good healthy phisicle condition .very professional, walking around taking pictures of cars , both men had back packs. I was lying in bet and I saw one flash, then another. It was 2 am . I got dressed and jumped into my car and followed them and video taped them. They saw me and they just kept walking . I followed them all the way down Summer st , and lost them around the water front. It looked very professional , they were picking and chosing what cars they wanted to vandalize. I bet it was the wheels on the vehicles, tires and rims or expensive wheel packages etc. They were maping out the city and making notes , so they would retun another night to target the vehicles they took pictures of.
