Seven teams of chefs are returning to South Boston to turn “trash” food into delicious bites at the 4th annual Ultimate Food Rescue Challenge on Tuesday June 25th at Coppersmith from 6-9.

Three Squares New England, non-profit that raises critical funds to fight hunger in the Greater Boston Area, will welcome a talented line-up. Two-time James Beard Award Winner Jody Adams with team with Sherry Hugues, Executive Chef at Women’s Lunch Place. Chopped Winner Stephen Coe will display his talent as well as Moona’s Mark McMann and Chickadee’s pastry chef Kate Holowchik. Chefs from Commonwealth Kitchen, Fresh Food Generation, and Cambridge School of Culinary Arts will also both collaborate and compete as they turn ‘surprise’ ingredients rescued just days before into a small plates menu.

The anticipated 200+ guests will vote on their favorite dish. Excitement continues as this year’s auctioneers Advisory Board Members Ange Cavallo and Project Goodwill founder Travis Talbot encourage our guests to bid on hard-to-get items, including two tickets & tail-gating to the Patriots home opener, roof-deck tickets to The Who concert, and other fun prizes.

All funds support the Ride for Food and the participating twenty hunger-relief organizations, including Boston’s Lovin’ Spoonfuls, Urban Farming Institute, and Women’s Lunch Place.
