(Boston, MA) July 2025 – Hundreds of foodies will converge at Boston’s iconic nightlife venue, The Grand, 58 Seaport Blvd in South Boston, on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for Get Konnected!’s 11th Annual A Taste of Ethnic Boston. Since its launch in 2013, A Taste of Ethnic Boston has been the city’s first and only multicultural food festival, created to spotlight the hidden culinary gems and neighborhood restaurants that help define Boston’s emerging status as an international dining destination.
This year’s celebration will feature more than 20 restaurants as well as food and beverage vendors representing the global flavors of Boston’s most culturally rich communities—from Vietnamese pho and Dominican mofongo to Cape Verdean cachupa, Southern soul food, and more. Hundreds of food lovers, hospitality and culinary leaders, and community champions will gather to honor Boston’s ever-evolving food scene.
“A Taste of Ethnic Boston is more than just a food festival—it’s a celebration of the cultural richness and diversity that fuels Boston’s hospitality and culinary ecosystem,” said Colette A.M. Phillips, Founder & CEO of Get Konnected! and creator of the event. “This event shines a light on the neighborhood-based, culturally diverse restaurants that too often go unrecognized but are essential to Boston’s culinary identity. The city is no longer just baked beans, lobster, and clam chowder—From the fragrant spices of Afghan cuisine to the lively flavors of Caribbean, Spanish, African, Asian, and Indian dishes, Boston’s neighborhoods are brimming with authentic tastes that tell stories of migration, resilience, and community. As we learned from the great chef the late Anthony Boudain, food, after all, is one of the most powerful ways to learn about people, to break down barriers, and to foster understanding across cultures. This is a powerful opportunity for residents and visitors alike to experience the true flavor of Boston.
Special guest appearances at the event will include up and coming local award-winning musician songwriter Najee Janey, international steel drum soloist Justin Petty and Miss Massachusetts USA, Melissa Sapini
A Taste of Ethnic Boston is a wonderful opportunity to help amplify Boston’s rich and diverse culinary ecosystem. Come experience the 11th annual A Taste of Ethnic Boston and help amplify our neighborhood restaurants. The Taste of Ethnic Boston embodies this idea, bringing together food lovers, culinary influencers, and community members from all backgrounds to celebrate the city’s rich diversity.
