Second Loco Location on the Horizon
Southie’s favorite taco and margarita joint is expanding. According to Boston Restaurant Talk, PlantPub in the Fenway neighborhood wants to transfer its liquor license to Loco Taqueria. Loco would eventually open at PlantPub’s former location at 61 Brookline Ave. According to the Boston Globe, owner Mike Shaw stated that he hopes to have the new location open by April.
The City of Boston Licensing Board would have to approve the transfer. So we shall see!
