I scream, you scream!  We all scream for ice scream!

With the Boathouse on L Street a fond memory of ice creams past, Southie residents have been asking, “Where can I get some ice cream in town?”   The little ice cream shop at the corner of Dorchester St. and East Fourth Street once called P.S. Scoops has undergone some renovations and will reopen under a new name sometime in June.   Don’t forget the Jimmies!

We can’t wait!

Whats going on with the boathouse because while I thought they were going to tear it down, it looks like they may be improving it? Any news on that? There’s a wall of plywood covering up the whole thing.

I walked by yesterday and spoke with a gentleman involved with the work who told me the boathouse would reopen as a hamburger joint with back patio seating.
