Last Call for Joseph’s Bakery – Sunday, June 4th
Back in April, we reported that the legendary Joseph’s Bakery – in business for over 50 years – was closing its doors. Well, that day has officially come. On Friday, the owners of the bakery posted that the last day will be Sunday, June 4th.
Stop by and pick up your final egg sandwich, maybe a lobster tail, and a delicious iced coffee.
Good news – the current owners of the bakery are hoping to open a new location in the neighborhood. Stay tuned for details!

Well, unless it’s the Masciave family opening, it’s not really “Joseph’s “. I miss the real Joseph’s. The pizza! The calzone! The Scali bread! So much more!
Every place is practically gone from Southie. Federico bike shop and now Josepg Bakery . Southie is not the same anymore.
I’m happy that they’re staying is Southie.
They K st location will probable be condos. Like the old A st. Dinner location. They left but they’re now back in Southie as My Dinner on first street and the food is as great as before!

Nope, it’s still on the market! I’m assuming you know that the people who owned the bakery side now own Annie’s on L Street.
