Just one more reason to celebrate the weekend! Coppersmith has a new DIY Bloody Mary Bar and to say it’s amazing is an understatement. With dozens of options to spice up your classic cocktail, the bar features selections of in house pickled vegetables, spices, sauces and garnishes. Everything from pickled green beans to Korean BBQ sauce is available in an impressive display. You can even add bacon or shrimp too! The DIY Bloody Mary Bar is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 3pm! We’ll raise our glass to that!

Here’s how some of our staffers enjoy their Bloody Marys:

Deborah McCarthy, Photographer
Jumbo shrimp and pepperoncini, lots of horseradish and I had one with a pickled boiled egg which was good. Extra spicy.

Heather Foley, Writer
I like to be able to chew my bloody marys, the chunkier the better!  Horseradish, a peppered rim, and maybe a mini-slider garnish for luck.

Mairead McGonagle, Writer
I love to have a full-on meal with my Bloody. Cheeseburgers, lobster, bacon, you name it, I’ll eat it. :)

Keriann Coffee, Writer
I’m a traditionalist when it comes to my Bloody Marys—give me Titos with Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, pepper, horseradish, and lemon juice. Nothing more, nothing less.  As for garnishes, they really depend on my hangover level, but typically consist of celery, bacon, and extra blue-cheese-stuffed olives.
