BOSTON (January 11, 2021): Anoushe’lla Kitchen owners Ninaand Raffi Festekjian are pleased to announce their new, but popular concept NU Burger by Nina is heading to the South End later this week. NU Burgerwill be a “virtual pop-up” sharing the kitchen with and at Anoush’ella on W. Newton and Washington Streets in the South End. NU Burger will finally give the neighborhood a fast casual burger option. NU Burger opened earlier this spring at Time Out Market Boston, replacing Craigie Burger, and is currently closed due to the pandemic.

With the original NU Burgers currently closed because of COVID regulations, Nina and Raffi were determined to keep the brand alive and more importantly, the Fenway team employed. “We hope this will be a win-win-win situation,” says Nina Festekjian “for our employees, the South End, and surrounding areas that we deliver to.”  With the introduction of the NU burger, Anoush’ella becomes the only restaurant in the South End to offer a high-end fast-casual burger “virtually” for lunch and dinner seven days a week. It will be available all day for pickup and delivery seven days a week, throughout their hours of operation (see below).

NU Burgers are made from 100% Angus all-natural beef that is hormone, antibiotic, and steroid free, and served on a brioche bun from acclaimed A&J King Artisan Bakers in Salem Massachusetts as well as mesclun greens from Little Leaf Farm, in Devens, Massachusetts. The inaugural menu will include all six burgers inspired by Chef/Owner Nina’s world travels and from being raised and living abroad.
