Scholastic Book Fair at the Lounge at the Innovation and Design Building

The Scholastic Book Fair is returning to the Innovation and Design Building Tuesday, August 25 through Thursday, August 27, in The Lounge at 23 Drydock, from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM each day. Whether you’re shopping for a young reader, adding a few new favorites to your own bookshelf, or simply looking to relive a little childhood nostalgia, come browse, rediscover an old favorite, and maybe find your next great read. New Round of Repairs + Renovations at the Curley Community Center

The Curley Community Center underwent a $31 million renovation a few years ago. Last year, however, there were numerous complaints about conditions at the facility, including locker room issues, overcrowding, broken equipment, plumbing problems, and more. Now, the City is moving forward with a new round of repairs and improvements at the Curley to address some of those concerns. Get all the details here.
