Development News: 270 West Second Street

Universal Hub is reporting that the Zoning Board of Appeal approved plans to replace the North Coast squid-processing plant (who knew?) located at the corner D and Second with a five-story building.
There will be 81 units and 12 will be rented as “affordable.”
The building will have 4-stories on West Second and five on West First with 60 parking spot.
According to Universal Hub, City Councilor Ed Flynn’s office is asking for the developer to work with the BPDA to add 9 extra parking spots due to the fact the neighborhood is in a parking crisis.
