Uncommon Green was started in 2009 by Brian Johnson with the idea of melding artistry with functionality. Drawing inspiration from his background in mechanical engineering and industrial product development, Brian started looking for ways to incorporate high-performance industrial materials into designs for the home. Brian’s two college buddies – Dave and Neil – came on board and joined the Uncommon Green team where they are committed to building our company on five essential qualities—creativity, ingenuity, craftsmanship, honesty, and pride.
Brian also lives in South Boston.
