Run Littlefoot, an organization that brings donated footer to homeless and low-income families in Boston, now has donation bin at the Running Emporium (341 West Broadway) in South Boston. So when you pick up a new pair of sneakers, you can donate your old ones knowing that all the shoes will go to those in need locally.
Perfect excuse to buy yourself some new running shoes!
Be on the lookout in June for a new Kickstarter project to raise funds for the Boston Giving Truck – a mobile donation and shoe distribution vehicle. We’ll keep you posted!
