Celebrate National Second Hand Wardrobe Day!  Element Hotel is hosting a special pop up exchange where guests, friends and neighbors can swap and not shop!  The Element Exchange is a series of secondhand clothing pop-ups. With the launch of this new initiative, Element Hotels will contribute to combatting the global issue of fashion waste, as well as support local sustainability efforts.

“Clothes are one of the most frequent items purposefully left behind in hotel rooms,” said Marlon Whyte, Global Brand Leader of Element Hotels. “The Element Exchange helps to limit the huge environmental impact of fashion sustainability by giving guests and locals in our vibrant communities the option to exchange or recycle clothing and offset their carbon footprint.”

Stop by for drinks, light bites in the courtyard, and extend the life of your wardrobe.  Bring items from your closet to swap with local second hand vendors or to donate!  This event takes place on Friday, August 25th from 5:30pm-8:30pm!

Ministry of Supply, a local Boston company which supplies underprivileged young adults with clothing for the workplace and job interviews, will be on-site and donating the remaining clothes through their 1 In, 1 Out initiative.  You can register for this free event here!
