The Castle Island Brewing Taproom in Southie turns one on Friday, September 23rd! Help them celebrate with a special collaboration with Bardo’s Pizza – Andiamo! A golden potato chip larger made with Bardo’s legendary potato chips. Plus Bardo’s will be debuting some new menu items!

Open Street Boston – Dorchester Avenue
Enjoy open streets on Saturday, September 24th from 9am-3pm. Open Streets Boston is a collection of free, family-friendly events. During these events, the City will close major thoroughfares to motor traffic, opening them for pedestrian use including: walking, rolling, biking and connection with neighbors and local businesses.

The Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market will take place outside on Seaport Common and will feature Black-owned businesses from throughout the Greater Boston area. From gifts and apparel to packaged foods and beauty & skincare products, the Seaport x Black Owned Bos. Market will offer something for everyone as it raises awareness for and support of Black entrepreneurship. Live local DJs will also perform at the market. Takes place on Sunday 12pm-6pm.
Register for the Tour de South Shore
The Tour de South Shore is returning on September 25 to Wompatuck State Park in Hingham! Featuring a 25- and 50-mile bike and 5K fun run/walk, all proceeds raised from the Tour de South Shore support The McCourt Foundation and their mission to help find a cure for Neurological diseases and build a healthier world. The bike courses boasts a scenic ride through the trees and along the coast in Scituate, Norwell, Cohasset and Hingham, and the 5K course winds you through and around Wompatuck State Park. Post-race, all participants and their friends and family, are invited to join us for a spirited celebration with music, free food and beer, an awards ceremony awarding the Team CUP Trophy to the top fundraising team, and more! This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities! Make your ride, run, or walk meaningful and join us at the Tour de South Shore on September 25. Learn more and commit today!
Free Ferry to Spectacle Island
In September and October, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay will host three free day trips to Spectacle Island from 10am – 2:30PM on Sunday September 18th, Sunday September 25th, and Sunday October 2nd. They will also host three free Sunset Cruises towards Boston Light from 5:30pm – 7:30pm on Tuesday September 27th, Wednesday September 28th, and Saturday October 15th. You can reserve your spot here!
