Taylor Swift Night at The LOT

Got a blank space, and we’re ready to fill it with Taylor Swift movie magic! Get ready for a night at The LOT to watch the Taylor Swift Movie on Friday, September 13th! We all know Taylor’s favorite number is 13, so they’re going to go BIG! The doors open at 6PM and the movie starts at 7PM.Come early to grab a spot and a drink, and enjoy games and FREE friendship bracelet-making! Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day

Castle Island Brewing is hosting a Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day bash! The event will be held Saturday, September 14th at 3pm. They will have live music featuring Connacht. Wear green to match your green beer! Get all the details here!

The Broadway is transforming into a vintage flea market on Saturday September 14th from 10am to 2pm. There will be 20 vendors with unique vintage goods! Drink Poppi will be providing delicious drinks for Aperol Spritz to get the shopping started. There will also be a DJ. Southie Step Aerobics

Join The Training Lab for Southie Step Aerobics! Starting on 9/15 we will be hosting step aerobics classes on Sundays at 9:30 am for the month of September! This won’t be your typical step aerobics class, our classes are set to hip hop and upbeat music. You’ll be sure to work up a sweat and won’t even feel like you’re working out!  Takes place at Lili Latin Dance – 423 West Broadway!  Class is $20 you can register here!

Sunday Sweat at Loco Lounge

Sunday Sweat is taking over The Loco Lounge for a group pilates class on Sunday, September 15th at 10am. Hailey Hoffman will be leading the 45 minute mat pilates class, which is a great full body workout. New in the Neighborhood: Mr. H Opens this Week

In the ever-expanding landscape of restaurants in the neighborhood, there is a new one on the horizon! Mr. H — a new Chinese restaurant is opening on Thursday, September 12th, at 225 Northern Ave. COJE, the group behind Lolita, Mariel, Yvonne’s, and Coquette, will open the much-anticipated spot. It will feature Chinese-inspired dishes and cocktails and have a pick-up window for your late-night cravings!  Menu items include dumplings, dim sum, noodles, and more!

Rededication of South Boston Vietnam Memorial

South Boston Vietnam Veterans will celebrate the 43rd Anniversary of the South Boston Vietnam Memorial –  located in Medal of Honor Park – on Sunday, Sept. 15th, 2024. A Memorial Mass will be held in St. Brigid Church, 841 East Broadway, South Boston, at 10:30 a.m., followed by an 11:30 a.m. rededication ceremony at the memorial.
