Honor Our Fallen – Never Forget

On the eve of the 20th anniversary of September 11th, we remember those whose lives were lost in the tragic events of this day. Join the Seaport community at Our Lady of Good Voyage Chapel at 6:00pm this evening for a Prayer Service of Remembrance followed by a candlelight procession to the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial on Seaport Common which honors those who gave their lives in service to our country since September 11, 2001. End of Summer Smash at Coppersmith

Participate Run/Walk the McCourt Foundation Waterfront 5K

The most unique 5K course with over a mile of running along the water. A fantastic post race celebration, with music, an Arctic Chill Zone and much more! The race takes place on Saturday, September 11th at 10am. You can register here!

September 11th Turnaround

The USS Constitution will make a turnaround on Saturday, September 11th at 12:30pm complete with a 21-gun salute at Castle Island! We hear the Thunderbirds and other military aircraft will be in the neighborhood too!

Check out Uncornered

The Boston Uncornered Photo Project is an art exhibit featuring 22 Bostonians and their personal stories. It includes an unconventional mix of mayoral candidates, business leaders, to those who were once gang involved. The exhibit portrays that anyone and everyone has once felt cornered and the right intervention can change this. The bold, black and white portraits captured by photographer John Huet shows how becoming “uncornered” is a universal experience. The Boston Uncornered Project will be on display on Sea Green Park August 24, 2021 through September 15, 2021.

Fundraising Event for Jake Thibeault

Seaport Strong has organized a special fundraiser for Jake Thibeault and his family with medical bills and support via the Boston Bruins Foundation at the Lawn on D on Sunday, September 12th from 12pm-3pm. $20 donation.  Food and drinks available and a free concert to follow. All proceeds from the food will go to the cause! Raffles will also be available! You can also make a donation here! Jake recently suffered a spinal cord injury while playing hockey.

Kayak Paddle on the Neponset River

On Sunday, September 12th tour the Lower Neponset River and Rice Islands with NepRWA staff. This adventure-filled event takes place from 9:00am-12pm. Meet at the Central Ave. canoe launch in Mattapan. NepRWA staff will help you unload boats at the launch and direct you to nearby parking. Tours are free for members $10 for non-members.
