Introducing the 16th Season of The Current: The Current Chalets
Following the summer edition as The Current Cabanas, The Current gets an entirely new look for Fall. Boston Seaport by WS announces the 16th season of The Current, now reimagined as The Current Chalets. This innovative retail concept will transform into a New England fall and winter shopping destination beginning September 26. Featuring a mix of new and returning brands, the nine tiny-home-inspired chalets, designed by Brooklyn-based architecture firm nArchitects, will offer everything from hand-made candles and children’s books and clothing to modern jewelry and gourmet chocolates, plus many customized items. Oktoberfest at The LOT
@onthedotboston is hosting its annual Oktoberfest again! Be sure to stop by The LOT on Saturday, October 12th, from 1-7PM! All day long, there will be live music by Broken Heels, ax throwing, pumpkin painting, caricature artist drawings, and, of course, drinks and beer in the Cannonball Cantina!  FREE entry, be sure to RSVP and check out more details today. Food options will include Mexican food from Northeast of the Border, snacks from Cannonball Cantina, and fun fair food such as fried dough and fried Oreos! The cantina will sell all types of beer, seltzers, cocktails, and more. 7th Annual MR8K
The Martin Richard Foundation, in partnership with the Boston Bruins Foundation, New Balance, WS Development, and DMSE Sports, will host the seventh annual MR8K on Sunday, October 13. For the second consecutive year, the 5-mile race will take place in Boston’s Seaport District. The course will start at Martin’s Park and end at Cisco Brewers Seaport for a post-race celebration. Last year’s event raised over $100,000 for local youth and community causes. Registration is open at mr8k.org/.
