Eat:
The wildly popular Fort Point-based brewery has expanded into the restaurant biz! The 18,000 square foot restaurant has officially opened! the new Trillium Fort Point has a fun and casual vibe, features three floors and has a seating capacity of 450 people. The ground level showcases a new retail space and taproom overlooking views of the 10-barrel brewhouse, alongside a 23-seat bar and high-top tables. The second level includes a main dining room with large picture window to the kitchen. The second floor also offers a private dining room accommodating up to 85 guests. The third floor is a seasonal roof deck with a bar and additional seating. Executive Chef Michael Morway has created a menu that includes a variety of cold snacks, warm snacks, bowls, trays, entrees, sandwiches and desserts which include gluten free, wheat free and vegetarian options. The restaurant & brewery also features 24 tap lines and bottles from the Trillium Brewing cellar!  You can check out the menu here! 

Drink:
Friday Night Flights! Each Friday evening, GrandTen Distilling will open the distillery doors to those interested in a more in-depth understanding of handcrafted spirits. Offering a detailed tour, followed by a relaxed tasting of our full line of products (along with special, limited-run spirits not available anywhere else), you’ll keep a tasting glass as a souvenir. These tastings will include discussions on mixology, the history of Boston spirits, and the spirit world more generally. To keep these tastings intimate and conversation lively, seating will be initially limited to 20 reservations. You can purchase tickets by visiting their website!

Teen Night at the ICA! Join the ICA Teen Arts Council—15 students from Boston-area high schools—for an unforgettable Teen Night! Organized by teens for teens, the evening features teen-led art tours, artmaking activities, and youth performances in the coolest theater in Boston, the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater. Regan’s Motivated Fitness is hosting a self-defense class on Saturday, November 17th at 11am. One of our favorite Southie fitness spots, Lifted Fitness, has teamed up with our pals at Dorchester Brewing Company for an opportunity to detox then retox this weekend! Kick off your Sunday funday with a 45-minute Metabolic Conditioning class. Think: squats, presses, jumps, and more cardio-type exercises in a high-energy, friendly environment, followed up by a few delicious, local craft beers. $20 gets you your entry to the class, plus two – 5 oz pours of your choosing. Sweat:
It’s time for a Sunday Funday Sweat Crawl in Southie! Patriots have a BYE week, so what better way to spend your Sunday then sweating it out at two of your favorite studios? Sunday November 18th at 11am start with a 45 minute Sculpt class at Sweat Fixx Southie, then head down the street for a 45 minute spin & post class refreshments at @the_handle_bar. You can sign up here! 

Register:
Put on your Santa hat, lace up those sneakers and get ready to run for a great local school – South Boston Catholic Academy. On Saturday, December 1st at 9am join your friends and neighbors and run a 5K race along the South Boston beaches. Start and finish is at South Boston Catholic Academy at 866 East Broadway. Stick around for a post-race party with prizes, raffles, food and fun! There is also fun for the kids on deck too with two youth races. At 9:00am – 100 Meter Dash for kids (9 and under) and at 9:30 a 1/2 mile run (14 and under). If you preregister by November 30th, it’s $30. Post-registration is $35.
