Boston Comedy Club: South Boston

Castle Island Brewery will be hosting The Boston Comedy Club on Friday, March 8th, from 8-9:30pm. Boston Comedy Club showcases professional comedians from Boston, New York City and beyond! Succulent Garden Party at Love Child

Love Child is hosting a succulent garden party just in time for spring. The party is on March 9th from 12-3pm. You will be arranging a succulent garden in a recycled wine bottle. And you can curate your own drink flight! Stop by Saturday! Also, Caught in Southie will be there with our merch! Come check it out and get parade weekend ready!

St. Patrick’s Day Boxing Tournament

Peter Welch’s Gym is hosting its First Annual St. Patrick’s Day Boxing Tournament on Saturday, March 9th. The event will be held at 12pm. Boxers will be fighting for the opportunity to win 12 titles. Get your tickets here!

St. Paddy’s Day Sip & Strut at The Broadway

Join Sip & Strut Boston for a St. Paddy’s Day Pregame on Saturday, March 10th, from 1-3pm. The event includes a 1 mile strut and 15 minute tone class, followed by an epic hangout at The Broadway. The ticket includes a mimosa and a boozy donut. Also, you will be entered for the giveaway of 2 line skips into The Broadway on St. Paddy’s Day! Tiki Fridays at Fresh Boston

Head over this Friday, March 8th, to enjoy delicious tiki cocktail specials at Fresh Boston. And for International Women’s Day, all ladies will get a complimentary mini mai tai from 6-8pm. The specials include a Blue Hawaiian, Petey’s Pain Killer, Lava Lava Mai Tai, Love Island, and a Bermuda Rum Swizzle. The drinks will all be served in a tiki mug! South Boston Citizens’ Association is hosting a 21+ Bowl-A-Rama at South Boston Bowl. The event will be held March 10th from 12-3pm. Refreshments will be served. There will be prizes to a lucky male and female winner! Make sure to stop by!

Cold Plunge with Southie Cold Plunge

Southie cold plunge is organizing another revitalizing dip this weekend. Their group plunge is being held Saturday March 9th, at 11 am. The dip will be located on Carson Beach to the right of the L. Join in to reap all the benefits of cold plunging! And it is going to be 40 degrees and high tide! Perfect for beginners!

The Dirty Italian is hosting a cheese tasting with olive oil pairing on Saturday from 12pm-2pm.

International Women’s Day

Friday, March 8th, is International Women’s Day! A perfect excuse to celebrate and support the amazing women in your life and our neighborhood. Fresh Boston is offering a complimentary Mai Tai for all women from 6-8pm. Hunter’s has a specialty charity cocktail called Rosie the Rivet-tini, which will benefit Rosie’s Place!  Plus support these women owned businesses in the neighborhood!

Harpoon’s St. Patrick’s Festival

St. Patrick’s Day festivities will be taking over Harpoon this weekend. The events will be Friday, March 8th, from 6-11pm and Saturday, March 9th, from 12-7pm.
