Peter Welch’s Gym St. Patrick’s Boxing Tournament

Looking for a way to get your adrenaline pumping this St. Patrick’s Day season? Peter Welch’s Gym is bringing back its 2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Boxing Tournament on Saturday, March 8th and Saturday, March 15, 2025—and it’s shaping up to be a knockout event! Expect two full days of amateur boxing action featuring some of the best up-and-coming fighters from around New England. The event runs from 1pm – 4pm, giving you plenty of time to catch some hard-hitting matchups. Tickets are $29, and you can grab yours now on Eventbrite here for Saturday, March 8th and here for Saturday, March 15th.

Sunday Sweat at Loco Lounge

Sunday Sweat is taking over The Loco Lounge for a group sculpt class on Sunday, March 2nd at 10am. Studio78 and CorePower instructor Gabi Brait will be leading the 45 minute sculpt class, which is a great full body workout! South Boston Citizens’ Association is hosting a 21+ Bowl-A-Rama at South Boston Bowl. The event will be held Sunday, March 9th from 12 to 3pm. Refreshments will be served. There will be prizes to a lucky male and female winner!

Boston Family Days

Mayor Michelle Wu is making Boston an even better place for families to grow, explore, and thrive! The Mayor announced Boston Family Days, a remarkable expansion of the popular BPS Sundays program that delighted Boston Public Schools students and their families with free access to cultural institutions around the city. This exciting initiative now opens the doors to all school-aged children in Boston, including those enrolled in Boston Pre-K, while adding three incredible new destinations: the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, and the Museum of African American History. Starting in January 2025 and running through December 2026, Boston Family Days will offer free admission on the first and second Sundays of each month to beloved Boston landmarks from the Children’s Museum to the JFK Library.  You can get all the details here.
