Lifebloom: Candlemaking Workshop at District Hall

Sign up for a 90-minute immersive and educational candlemaking workshop from Lifebloom on Friday, March 31st at 6pm. Learn about the candlemaking process and how to pour a 9 oz. candle in a handmade concrete vessel. You will have the opportunity to customize your candle, selecting your own vessel color, fragrance, wick, and candle name. If desired, you can request to have natural toppings of your choice (e.g., crystals, dried lavender) added after the candle has been cured by their team. Tickets are $65. Fresh Fish at Seapoint

Whether you are a practicing Catholic or just love fish – Seapoint’s famous fish is back for Lent. Fresh haddock and scallops will be on the menu Fridays.  Enjoy your seafood fried, baked or parmesan style over pasta.  Yum! Each meal is served with salad, bread, and your choice of potato.

Reopening Celebration of Jimmy’s Korner

After a two-alarm fire, Jimmy’s Korner at P + 6th has undergone some renovation.  Help celebrate its reopening on Friday, March 31st from 5pm-7pm with free samples from the neighborhood’s favorite liquor, beer and wine brands with free bites from a local restaurant. The Return of the Nasturtiums at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Just like the cherry blossoms in Washington DC, the hanging nasturtiums are a sign of spring in Boston!  The gorgeous vines of orange flowers are on display at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in the courtyard for the next three weeks.  Stop by and take in the beauty!

Live Music Roundup

Capo features the Felix Brown Band on Friday at 7pm.  On Saturday it’s the Beat Drops at 8pm and on Sunday it’s Sinatra Sunday with Rich Dimare and the Ron Poster Trio.

DJ Kait will be playing on Saturday at Shenannigans at 10pm.

Lincoln has Legends of Summer Band on Sunday at 6pm.

Loco has DJ Colin Tonge in the lounge on Friday from 9pm until closing. On Saturday, it’s Kim Cherry Sings in the main space from 1pm-4pm followed by DJ Alex Walker in the lounge from 9pm-closing. Sports

The Bruins face off against the Penguins on Saturday at 3pm and on Sunday it’s the Blues at 3:30pm.  The Celtics play the Jazz on Friday at 7:30pm.  Final Four Games take place on Saturday.
