Y2K Extravaganza at City Tap

City Tap will be hosting Y2K Events all weekend. Friday night will feature a Y2K party from 8 to close in their bar area. Saturday is a Y2K Brunch from 11-3pm. Wear your y2k best! And on Sunday, nurse your hangover with 2000’s trivia. 

Calling all Pickleball Fanatics

Saturday and Sunday from 9-11 am, join Harpoon’s Pickleball Social Club in court challenger. Jump on the court and try to hold service against all comers. Teams of 2 will be randomly paired, with the winner holding onto the court for as long as possible. As long as you win, you stay on the court. Lose and fall to the back of the queue. At the end of the series, whoever has held the court longest – won the most games – will win a $50 Harpoon gift card. Register here!

Sofar hosts secret concerts in which you find out the venue and talent 36 hours before the show.  The show will be held on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 Somewhere in Southie. Tickets are $27. You will see 2 to 3 acts of all different genres. Buy tickets here! 

Explore Thompson Island

On Saturday or Sunday take a ferry over to Thompson Island and explore the beach and conservation area. The ferry leaves at 9 am and returns to the mainland at 1pm. Round trip is 20$ for adults and kids 11 and under are free. Get tickets here.
