National Donut Day

Not like you need an excuse to eat a donut, but June 7th is National Donut Day! Lincoln will be featuring a donut special at Friday’s Brunch Test Kitchen!

National Rosé  Day

Looks like perfect rosé drinking weather this weekend! The Playwright is celebrating National Rosé Day all week with $5 glasses of rosé through June June 9th.  Want to drink on your stoop or roof deck?  Mayhew Wine Shop has an amazing selection and a friendly staff to help you select the perfect bottle!  Make sure to check out their weekly tastings too!

Barre at the Bar

On Sunday, June 9th at 9am enjoy a 50 min barre workout at the bar top at STATS in Southie! Stick around for some drinks and brunch after class! Pre-register because space is limited. You can register here!

Walk for Lovey

Anyone who knew Stephanie “Lovey” Uftring knew how she could light up up a room with her personality. She was outgoing, kind, and loads of fun. Back in 2014, Stephanie lost her battle with colon cancer and it was a dark day in South Boston to lose such a bright light.   A special walk will take place on Saturday, June 8th at 9am.  Walk begins at South Boston Yacht Club out to Castle Island and back.  Long sleeve “Lovey” T-shirts be be on sale for $20 at South Boston Yacht Club before and after the walk.  All proceeds will go to the Stephanie Uftring Memorial Scholarship Fund. For more information visit here! 

Kickoff Summer Party

The Broadway is kicking off summer with a bash!  On Sunday, June 9th enjoy live music with Steve Rondo, cornhole, drink samples, swag and prizes!  This event is is sponsored by White Claw Hard Seltzer.

Do or Die

Run for a Cause

On June 9th, run for girls’ rights and education! Komera believes that every girl around the world has the right to go to school and to believe that she can RUN THE WORLD! Let’s raise our voices and RUN for every girl who doesn’t have the chance to! Komera is thrilled to partner with Boston For All, a movement for an inclusive nation that supports immigrant rights and legal advocacy in Boston. Proceeds from the run this year will benefit both Komera and Redes en Acción Venezuela – a local organization helping Venezuelan refugees settling in the Boston area! We hope you will join us in this community collaboration to benefit both local and global causes! This event is completely FREE!
