BBQ Sunday to Go from Lincoln

Let Lincoln do the cooking for your Sunday get together!  Order up their BBQ platter complete with crispy pork bellies, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, smoked corn on the cob, pepper jack bacon mac n cheese.  Full platter is $50.  For $15 you can add a growler of Night Shift Fluffinity IPA.  Orders must be place by Saturday at 7pm.  Call 617-765-8636.

Apertivo Hour at Fox & the Knife

A delightful way to spend an afternoon.  Fox & the Knife is offering Apertivo Hour Wednesday – Sunday from 12pm-3pm.  This Italian Happy Hour features a limited menu of snacks like fried chili chickpeas, house-made ricotta, prosciutto, house-made mozzarella, and marinated olives. Pair these snacks with specialty drinks like an Aperol Sprit, frose, or a Fox Fizz made with gin, prosecco and lemon!

Social Distance Dash

Cabin fever has set in for all of us, especially with summer upon us! This virtual road race is the perfect opportunity for you to stay active (while remaining socially distant!), and most importantly, support your favorite charity!  You can register here! “Race Day” is anytime between July 2 – July 5. You can run or walk 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, or 26.2 anytime, anywhere to support your cause. Celebrate Independence Day with a new virtual tradition

America’s Ship of State, USS Constitution, and the USS Constitution Museum are bringing fun virtual content to your July 4th celebration. From a live 21-gun salute aboard “Old Ironsides” to firing an Alka-Seltzer® cannon in your own yard, there is something for all ages in this online event. Programming on July 4th will be streamed live from USS Constitution‘s Facebook page. Programs will include a special Ship tour with Carl Herzog, the Museum’s Public Historian and host of Historian at Home, and a public trivia contest. Start studying now for your chance to win one of the 21 saluting battery rounds fired from USS Constitution! You can learn more here. 

Take a Ferry to Spectacle

It was announced this week that ferry service to Spectacle Island is back in business for the season. Spectacle Island boasts some of the most magnificent vistas of the Boston skyline and is only a 20-minute ferry ride away from downtown Boston. With ferry services beginning for the summer season from Long Wharf, the island will be open and accessible to visitors.  You can learn more here!
