Loco Charity Margarita

Beat the heat this month with Loco’s new July Charity Margarita – the Summer Juice made with cucumber infused tequila, grapefruit soda, an Prosecco. $1 from every drink will be donated to More than Words   – a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers youth the take charge of their lives by take charge of a business!

Kara Duval Pilates at Backyahd

Beloved fitness instructor Kara Duval will be at the Backyahd on Saturday at 8:15am to teach her signature class, The Foundation. The Foundation marries the principles of Pilates (The Origin), strength training and functional movement patterns in one full-body experience. Can’t make this Saturday? Rooftop Yoga at Coppersmith

Stephanie James will be performing at the Supper Club at Capo on Saturday night from 7pm-10pm. Lincoln will feature Legends of Summer on Sunday at 6pm.

Take an Island Adventure

Explore Lovells Island – this requires two boat rides – the ferry to Georges Island plus a short (and free) boat ride to Lovells.  Walk the slightly spooky island (very much MidSommar vibes) and check out the ruins of an old military fort, great views of the city and you’ll be out in the fresh air! If you’re lucky enough to have a boat – or a friend with a boat – head to Venezia for some delicious Italian food to go via their dock. Order via their website and pick up via their dock!  Pasta always tastes better on a boat!
