Celebrate America’s Independence at Harborfest! From July 1st thru July 4th, enjoy family fun events like boat tours, kids activities, walking tours food, fun and more. Hunter’s is kicking off the long weekend with Jimmy Westfall playing 2-5 PM on Friday! Sunday, Matty Sheehan 2-5 PM and then KR 9 – 12. In addition to four days of brunch this weekend, Lincoln will be hosting the Legends of Summer on Sunday from 6 – 9.
Save the Harbor Save the Bay Teen Beach Bash
This fun event takes place on Friday from 12pm-3pm at Carson Beach. There will kayaking, sports, music, food, ice cream trucks, prizes and more!
On Saturday, July 2, head to the Seaport District to see fireworks along the water via HarborFest around 9:30 p.m. Spots to watch – the Barking Crab, Envoy’s Outlook rooftop or Cisco Brewers Pop Up. For a romantic pick – head to Mastro’s Ocean Club.

The USS Constitution will be making its annual turnaround on July 4th at 12noon! For ultimate viewing of Old Ironsides, Castle Island is the place to be between 11:30am-12pm. While you’re out there you might as well get some lunch or an ice cream at Sullivan’s! The turnaround will commemorate the 246th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular
At 8pm on July 4th, the annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular will take place along the Esplanade, with a concert performance at the Hatch Shell. Musical guests include Leslie Odom Jr., Melissa Etheridge, and Andy Grammar. Fireworks display will start at 10:30pm. Heading to the Esplanade? Read this first!

Recreation Station is Back
Oxford Properties and Pappas Enterprises are gearing up for the summer with all new seasonal activities at Recreation Station, South Boston’s free game and activity lending library. Recreation Station is filled with items for public use such as fitness gear, lawn games, books, family activities and more! Access the space using a simple combination. Either enter your information here or text the number listed on the front of the lending library to receive the lock box code. Then enjoy an array of seasonal activities, all yours for the borrowing. The Recreation Station is open to the public from 7am to 9pm on the waterfront along Pappas Way, the street connecting South Boston to Boston’s Seaport.
