South Boston Library Film Series: Nosferatu (1922)

The initial kick off for the South Boston Public Library film series will highlight the original Nosferatu film from 1922. This silent film is a masterpiece of German Expressionistic horror, directed by F. W. Murnau. This movie was an unauthorized adaptation of the novel Dracula. Starring Max Schreck as the vampire Count Orlok and Greta Schroder as Mina Harker. You can watch it Friday at 3pm at the library on East Broadway.

Bowl of ‘Zole Boston

Boston Pozole Festival is an event celebrating Mexican spirits and cuisine. It is being held Saturday, February 8th from 12-4pm, at The South Boston Lithuanian Club. The event will feature innovative and traditional takes on classic Mexican food and tastings of tequila and mezcal. Get more information and tickets here!

Small Business Sunday at Fresh Boston

Fresh is supporting small businesses with pop-ups on Sundays. This week’s pop-ups are Habit Boutique and Wolfie 617 Treats from 10:30am to 1:30pm. And while you are there grab a Nantucket Gatorade and a breakfast sandwich!

Big News! American Provisions has eggs by the dozen in stocks!  They are also serving breakfast an hour later on Saturdays and Sundays until 12pm instead of 11am.  Sleep in and go get some!
