On Saturday, June 15th at 10:30am Sweat Fixx is teaming up with Dorchester Brewing Co. to bring you a Sweat and Sip. Please try to arrive at Dorchester Brewing by 10:15. Martin’s Park Opening Celebration

Martin’s Park, located next to the Children’s Museum, is named for Martin Richard – the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombings – and will officially open to the public on Saturday, June 15th. Mayor Marty Walsh, Governor Charlie Baker and the Richard family will be in attendance for the official ceremony at 11am. Stop by and check out this impressive and much anticipated park! Program to begin at 11am. Official opening to include festival of live entertainment, food trucks and family-friendly programming throughout the day! We can’t wait!

$5 Mimosas & Bloodys at The Playwright

The Playwright is now offering $5 mimosas and bloodys during brunch on Saturdays and Sundays!  How awesome is that!  Also, this week for Country Sundays, Fred Ellsworth will be filling in for Annie Brobst!

The Great Outdoors

L.L.Bean is bringing outdoor fun to Fort Point Channel this summer with Outdoor Discovery Programs launching from Boston Children’s Museum. L.L.Bean provides everything you need to get out on the water, no experience necessary. Discovery courses are open to the public and perfect for anyone who wants to learn a new skill or just wants to get out and explore. Kayak programs begin Saturday, June 15, with stand-up paddleboard programs and harbor tours coming soon. Introductory level Discovery Courses, normally $25, are free during the month of June at all L.L.Bean locations, in partnership with Mastercard. McCourt Foundation Boston Waterfront 5K

McCourt Lace up your sneakers and take part in this family-friendly fitness event which includes a certified 5K race and walk, youth races and yoga by CorePower Yoga on the scenic South Boston Waterfront. Post race enjoy live entertainment with Brian Scully of Dalton & the Sheriffs, an expo, beer garden, food, and fun for the whole family! Taste of the Seaport

Taste of the Seaport returns to South Boston’s waterfront with culinary offerings from the neighborhood’s finest restaurants including Babbo Pizzeria, 75 on Liberty Wharf, Ocean Prime, and many more.
