The Lodge @ Publico

It is opening weekend for The Lodge at Publico. Their back area will be transformed into a ski lodge. Get ready to Apres Ski without even skiing. There will be drink and food specials. Make your reservation here! If you are interested in reserving a couch in the lodge area, email [email protected]

2nd Annual Cisco Stroll

The Cisco Stroll will take place on Saturday, December 9th from 12-4pm. There will be exclusive scarf giveaways, a holiday costume contest, a window decorating contest, and Cisco brews. For every pint of Cisco sold, $1 will be donated to the South Boston Neighborhood House. The participating bars are Loco, Lincoln, Layla’s, Publico, Fresh, Roza Lyons, Hunters, and The Broadway. Stop by your favorite bar for a Cisco and a good time. 

Roza Lyons Holiday Sip and Shop

Roza Lyons is inviting everyone to shop local small businesses while sipping on a complimentary Viva Seltzer. The event is on Friday, December 8th, from 6-9pm. It is the perfect place to grab a Christmas gift or a gift for yourself. The featured stores are The Point, Deirfiur Home, Camden Hayes, Wolfie’s All Natural Treats, Inner Harbor Jewelers, Luxe Home Interiors, and Lazy Jack Supply. 

Jingle Brawl

Peter Welch’s Gym is hosting a Jingle Brawl on Saturday, December 9th. Doors open at 4pm and the first fight begins at 5 pm. Admission is $30 at the door. There will be food and drink. Nothing like a good bout to get you into the holiday spirit!

Seaport Menorah Lighting

Join Chabad of Downtown Boston, at One Seaport as they light up a tall 9′ Menorah for Hanukkah on Sunday, December 10th from 4:30pm-5:30pm.

Holiday Jolly for The Ollie at My Stryde

My Stryde is giving back to the local South Boston community on Saturday, December 9th at 10:15am. They will be teaching a power stride to benefit the South Boston Neighborhood House aka The Ollie. Holiday Pop-up Market @ Castle Island Brewery

Castle Island Brewery will be hosting Salvage Angel for a Holiday Pop-up Market on Sunday, December 10th from 12-5pm. Salvage Angel offers unique vendors such as vintage clothing, home decor, handmade jewelry, art, oddities, and more. It’s a great way to cross off some gifts for the holiday season. Grinch Brunch at City Tap

Bring your resting Grinch face to City Tap House because it is the season to host a brunch honoring the reformed Christmas villain. On December 9, City Tap will be transforming into Whoville and Mount Crumpit for a holiday happening filled with green grumps and jolly Whos. Deck City Tap’s halls with holiday sweaters and reindeer jammies and while DJ J-Wall spins the best (or if you’re feeling extra-Grinchy, the most painful) holiday tunes, it’s time to get your sip and snack on. Paying ode to the Grinch’s faithful four-legged friend, chow on Max’s French Toast Sticks with green scrambled eggs ($6). Other options are Cindy Lou’s Green Eggs & Bacon, green scrambled eggs with bacon ($7), and green Grinch Waffles with syrup and whipped cream ($8).
