Light Up Seaport 2023
Get in the Holiday spirit and head on over to the Seaport for their tree lighting on Friday December 1st, from 5-9pm. Not only will they light up the tree in Seaport Common, but there will be live music, deals, and more! Get all the info and deals offered by local businesses here!
Christmas and Holiday Market at The LOT
The LOT will be transformed into a holiday market on December 2nd and 3rd. The market will be open from 12-6pm on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be vendors for all your gift-giving needs. There will also be free Santa photos and a free Roaming Railroad for kids. The event is free for all. RSVP and find out more details here!
Petula’s Jazz Lunch
Jazz will be taking over Petula’s on Fridays in December starting Friday, December 1st. The live music will be from 12-3pm. They will also have $1 oysters, holiday specials, and festive sax vibes. Make your reservation here!
South Boston Catholic Academy Jingle Bell Run
The 14th Annual Jingle Bell Run will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 10 am. There will be two youth races at 9am, featuring a 100-meter dash for kids 9 and under and a ½ mile race for kids 14 and under. The main event is a 5km run along the beaches and around Castle Island. There will be refreshments, food, entertainment, and awards after the race. Sign up and get more info here!
Roza Lyons Holiday Fundraiser
Roza Lyons will be hosting a holiday fundraiser for The Ollie. The event will be held Sunday, December 3rd at 12pm. There will be a toy drive and they will also be accepting donations at the door.
Holiday Concert at South Boston Public Library
The Umass Boston String Quartet will be performing a free Holiday concert at The South Boston Public Library. The event will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from 12-1pm. There is no registration but it is first come first serve for a capacity of 75.
Christmas Tree Pop-up at Castle Island Brewery
Castle Island Brewery will be having a Christmas tree pop-up every Saturday and Sunday from the weekends of December 2nd to December 17th from 12-8pm. They will have full-sized, apartment-sized, decorative baskets and kissing balls….Hey, keep ya mind out of the gutter. Also, if you spend $100 at CIBC x Bardo’s tab, you will get $10 off your tree purchase. So grab lunch or dinner this weekend and save on your tree.
South Boston Lith Club Kitchen
The Lith Club is usually only open to Lithuanian Club Members. But on Saturday and Sunday they are open to the public from 12pm-7pm. Enjoy traditional Lithuanian food, really great bar pizza and drinks! The vibes are old-school. It’s a hidden Southie gem.
The Dirty Italian Open House
You’re invited to kick off the holiday season with an exclusive tour of the new Dirty Italian on Old Colony Ave. Enjoy samples and get a behind-the-scenes look at the new cooking and charcuterie classroom!
