Eat:
Lobster, shrimp and oysters, oh my! Celebrate the 7th Annual Boston Seafood Festival at Boston Fish Pier at the on Sunday, August 5th from 11am-6pm. This family friendly event begins at 11am and goes for 8 delicious hours until 7pm. Wet your whistle! Whether you hit M Street Beach or Carson Beach, an iced cold beer or a frozen drink and some snacks will do the trick! Head to Roza Lyons apres beach and cool off with some Watermelon Mint Frosé! While you’re there you might as well order their pretzel sticks with cheese sauce too! Head to the Lawn on D for the Aquatic Rodeo on Friday, August 3rd at 5pm. Presented by Narragansett, there will be a Captain Quint look-alike contest, you can ride Bruce the Mechanical Shark, and there will be a special “Crush it like Quint” prize pack for the longest rider. oh yeah, there will be lots of Narragansett beer to drink too!

Barre and Brunch! Brunch Fit is hosting a Beat Barre class at C2 followed by brunch at the Punk & Poet! On Sunday, August 5th beginning at 10:45am – enjoy a 45 minute barre class followed by a full brunch including complimentary mimosa! Tickets are $39 and can be purchased here!

Audition:
Are a salt of the earth “real person” with a “tough face?” Well, have we got an audition for you! Boston Casting is hosting an open casting call this Saturday for a new Mark Wahlberg film shot in Boston. They are looking for “construction workers, blue collar workers, DPW workers, fishermen, mob guys, etc.” Casting directors are hoping to fill speaking roles and to hire extras. Register:
Register this week for the annual Mass Bay Credit Union Golf Tournament! This fun event takes place on Tuesday, August 14th at the Cape Club of Sharon and begins at11am with registration followed by a shotgun start at 12pm at 5pm a special cocktail and dinner reception. Price is $230 per golfer and $920 for a foursome. Fee includes green fees, golf cart, boxed lunch, dinner and use of locker rooms. For more information, email Maren at [email protected].
