Check out the Recreation Station

Oxford Properties and Pappas Enterprises are gearing up for the summer with all new seasonal activities at Recreation Station, South Boston’s free game and activity lending library. Recreation Station is filled with items for public use such as fitness gear, lawn games, books, family activities and more! Access the space using a simple combination. Either enter your information here or text the number listed on the front of the lending library to receive the lock box code. Then enjoy an array of seasonal activities, all yours for the borrowing. The Recreation Station is open to the public from 7am to 9pm on the waterfront along Pappas Way, the street connecting South Boston to Boston’s Seaport.  Make sure to follow them on Facebook for the latest news on special classes, activities and more!

Capo is hosting Adam Hanna on Friday, on Saturday it’s the Beat Drops and Sunday is Sinatra Sunday

Loco has DJ Alex Walker on Friday at 9pm.  On Saturday it’s DJ Colin Tonge at 9 and on Sunday Big Party Orchestra from 5pm-8pm.

Hunter’s has Jimmy Westfall on Friday from 3pm-6pm. On Saturday it’s Dylan Burke from 3pm-6pm and on Sunday Matty Sheehan will from 9pm-12am.

Sunday Snack Specials at Fat Baby

Fat Baby now has Sunday Snack specials. Enjoy $1 fried dumplings (pork or veg), wings for fifty cents each and pairs of hot chicken sliders for $12 (for two). Pairs well with Mai Tais in the sunshine on their beautiful patio!

Register for the Tour de South Shore

The Tour de South Shore is returning on September 25 to Wompatuck State Park in Hingham! Featuring a 25- and 50-mile bike and 5K fun run/walk, all proceeds raised from the Tour de South Shore support The McCourt Foundation and their mission to help find a cure for Neurological diseases and build a healthier world. The bike courses boasts a scenic ride through the trees and along the coast in Scituate, Norwell, Cohasset and Hingham, and the 5K course winds you through and around Wompatuck State Park. Post-race, all participants and their friends and family, are invited to join us for a spirited celebration with music, free food and beer, an awards ceremony awarding the Team CUP Trophy to the top fundraising team, and more! This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities!
