Woodstock turns 50
Backyard Betty’s will amplify its retro kitsch vibe by raising a glass to the 50th anniversary of the original Woodstock festival. Betty’s “Woodstock Weekend” will take place From Thursday, August 15th – Sunday, August 18th, and feature an all-star line-up of themed cocktails, specials and plenty of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin to honor the three-days of peace, love and music that took place on a dairy farm in Bethel, NY from August 15th-17th in 1969. Sing-along to a Woodstock Weekend inspired playlist of artists who took to the stage in front of nearly half a million festival-goers while sipping on specialty cocktails like the Sly and the Family Stone (coconut rum, blue curacao, pineapple) or the Jefferson Airplane (vodka, raspberry, lemon lime soda) each priced at $12.00.
