Play me, I’m yours! Tickle the ivories while you wait for your hotdog. “Play Me, I’m Yours” is a new public art project featuring 75 pianos around the city. The project runs through October 10th. One is on display at Sullivan’s at Castle Island! So be on the lookout for hand-painted pianos and people playing Chopsticks in public. Two Southie artists helped created two of the pianos too!

Fore! Register this week for the 2nd annual Mass Bay Credit Union Golf Tournament! This fun event takes place on Monday, October 3rd at Wollaston Golf Club in Milton and begins at 9am with registration followed by a shotgun start at 10am at 3pm a special dinner reception. Price is $250 per golfer and $1000 for a foursome. For more information, email Maren at [email protected]. Funds raised helps support many organizations in South Boston!

Mix and mingle! Come meet friends old and new at Julie’s Family Learning Program’s Friendraiser. This fun-filled event takes place at Capo on Thursday, September 29th from 6pm-9pm. Featuring food, a cash bar, raffles and an opportunity to learn more about all the amazing work they are doing at Julie’s Family Learning Program! Tickets are $35 and can be purchased here! 

Food fight! Tico and Mamaleh’s are set to face-off in round one of the Share Our Strength’s 4th Annual Food Fight Series on Tuesday, September 27th at Lincoln. The “breakfast-off” competition will benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, which aims to eradicate childhood hunger across the nation. Tickets are $30 and include all-you-can-eat food and two drink tickets.  You can purchase them here!
