Vote!  There’s an election on Tuesday!  Make sure to vote!  You’ll be voting for District 2 City Council and Mayor of Boston.  Polls are open from 7am-8pm.  We know everyone likes to vote in the presidential election but we think it’s even more important to vote in your local elections.  All politics are local, right?  Here’s some helpful information for you to read! 

National Lobster Day! In celebration of the end of summer and National Lobster Day – head to Sully’s for a lobster roll! The lobster roll is packed with fresh lobster meat and served on a grilled roll for just $14.95.  While you’re there, you might as well add some handmade onion rings to your order too.  You’ll thank us later!

Bring it!  Shred it!  Forget it!   Mass Bay Credit Union is holding a Shred It Day on Saturday, September 30th from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Shred It Day will consist of a large Shred-it® shredding truck parked in the Mass Bay employee parking lot at our South Boston Headquarters, located at 147 West 4th Street. Members and residents who live in the community are invited to bring any documents that contain sensitive information and have them shredded safely and for free!  There is a five-box maximum.

Calling all expectant moms!  Radiant Yoga’s wildly popular prenatal series starts on Monday and there are a few spots left!  This five-week yoga series is designed for mommies-to-be. The teacher creates a well paced sequence with focus on the unique needs of prenatal women. Students have the opportunity to connect with one another, with themselves, and with the little yogis growing within.Class size limited to 10 students. All levels of yoga experience welcome!  Cost: Five week series – $85 sign up here! 

Tuesday has no feel!  The Supper Club at Capo is changing that will the addition of live country music on Tuesdays featuring Dalton and the Sheriffs! Doors open at 7 – show starts at 8pm!

Park and pray!   Our Lady of Good Voyage on 51 Seaport Blvd. now offers parking validation for two nearby parking garages. For One Seaport Garage which is just across the street from the shrine, and for the Atlantic Wharf Garage.  So don’t let parking hold you back from attending Mass!
