Trick or Treating on Broadway! Beware of little ghosts and goblins (and their parents) roaming the streets in search for Halloween candy. East and West Broadway will be filled with trick or treaters on Wednesday, October 31st from 4pm-6pm picking up candy from local businesses and residences. So be warned! This event is free and is hosted by the members of the South Boston Chamber of Commerce. Insider’s Tip: At The Broadway and The Playwright kids eat free all day on Halloween!  

Are you brave enough? Head to 192 Gold Street at 6pm on Halloween for Southie Haunts – “a homemade haunt filled with ghouls and ghosts alike. If you’re brave enough stop by and see them Halloween night!”

Youth for change! The City of Boston is hosting a Youth Lead the Change – a participatory budgeting process where young Bostonians decide how to spend $1,000,000 of the City’s budget. Boston youths are encourage to submit ideas for projects that include improvements to physical City of Boston property like parks, community centers, schools, and libraries, benefit the general public, andlast at least five years. Submit your ideas about how to build a better Boston here!
