Great news!  Flour Bakery – owned and operated by James Beard recipient and author Joanne Chang’s – will open its 8th location at 1 Design Center Place off of Drydock Ave. in South Boston! The newest location will open bright and early on Monday, October 1st at 6:30am.

Happy Birthday Drink! Drink has been serving up crafted cocktails for the past 10 years founded by celebrity chef and Southie’s own Barbara Lynch! Stop by between 4:00 and 9:00pm and raise a glass to Drink.

Save the Date! On Wednesday, October 10th L Street Station will host another community meeting at the Tynan School at 7pm. This meeting’s topic is Land Use & Design. Be informed. Get involved.

Show your support! On Thursday, October 4th a special fundraising event will take place at the Lawn on D for the South Boston Leadership Initiative Boston to Belfast Kickoff from 6pm-10pm! Tickets are $30 and all proceeds will benefit the South Boston youth participating in the Boston to Belfast Youth Empowerment Program. There will be food, refreshments, live music and the Pats will be playing on all TV’s! You can purchase tickets here!
