The CIS Guide to St. Patrick’s Day is live! It’s our pleasure to bring you all that is hip and happening this St. Patrick’s season leading up to St. Patrick’s Day weekend. We’ll give you suggestions on where to watch the parade; tips on entertaining; where to eat corned beef and cabbage; where to catch some live Irish music; which bars to go to and so much more. This guide will be updated daily so keep checking for new scoop.
Get a job! Sullivan’s is accepting applications in person this week. Please ask for Chris Lane or a manager during the following times: Monday-Friday from 2:30-5:00 or Sat-Sun from 8:30-11:00. Immediately available shifts include ‘mother’s hours’ 10:30-3:00 (flexible), after school hours, and weekends. Even if you are interested in a summer job, now is the time to put in an application!

City Councilor Bill Linehan is throwing his annual party at JJ Foley’s (117 East Berkeley Street) on Wednesday, March 16th from 6pm-9pm. There will be live Irish music, great pub food and good company! Tickets are $50
Representative Nick Collins is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party at Lincoln Tavern on Thursday March 17th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be live Irish music from Bobby Fowkes and Curragh’s Fancy and plenty of great company. The back room is reserved and direct entry will be granted at the door if there is line. Suggested donation, $25, $50, $100
Why is one of the shifts at Sully’s called “mothers hours”? It should just be called a shift 10:30-3:00, you should edit out that sexism.
