Let’s go skating!  The Perry School is hosting a friends and family skate on Saturday, January 12th from 4pm-6pm at the Murphy Rink!  $5  per person.  $20 per family!  Includes skating, pizza, drinks and desserts!  Free skate rentals available – first some, first served.  Raffles and Prizes.  We also hear Blades from the Boston Bruins will be making an appearance.  All are welcome!

Recycle your Christmas tree!  The City of Boston will be collecting Christmas trees for composting from January 7th through January 18th.  Place your tree curbside (without lights or ornaments, duh!) and let the city do the rest!  Easy peasy!

Candidate Jenn Menjin is hosting a fundraising event at the Seapoint Restaurant on Friday, January 11th from 7pm-12am.  Stop by and show your support! Tickets are $5.

Haley Dillon, candidate for Mayor of Southie, is also hosting a fundraising event  on Friday, January 11th  at 7pm at L Street Tavern.  Bring your sparkle and your dancing shoes!  Music by Kenny Morell!  Prizes and raffles! Tickets are $20
