This shopping event takes places on Monday, December 17th from 6pm-9pm.

Sip on some great wine, specially selected by Mayhew’s knowledgeable connoisseurs. Ugly Sweater Trivia! Here’s another opportunity to wear that Ugly Christmas sweater! Head to Kings Dining & Entertainment in Back Bay for Ugly Sweater Trivia Night on Tuesday, December 18th at 7pm! If you show up dressed and ready to play you’ll receive a $20 Dining and Entertainment card! Bring a canned good for those in need too!

Jingle & Mingle! On Wednesday, December 19th from 5-9pm, The Barking Crab presents the second annual Jingle & Mingle event to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester. This seasonal soiree will transform The Crabby Lounge into a winter wonderland complete with creative ice sculptures, festive décor and a sleigh full of holiday surprises (including photos with Santa Claus himself)!  Each $40 ticket includes two drink tickets, dinner, live music, silent auction, fun games, a seasonal photo booth to snap all your holiday cheer and more. Guests can also take a turn at a signature ice luge sculpture!  Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.  All proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester through the Rodman Ride for Kids and be eligible for up to a 3% match!  You can purchase tickets here! 

Go see! A new exhibit will be on display at the Boston Convention Center called Yesterday Today Tomorrow: South Boston Neighborhood featuring works by Joshua Hart, Lierre Kandel, Karen McFeaters, Dan McCole, Kevin L. O’brien, Ashley Provencher, Deb Putnam, and Jennifer J. Roberts. This exhibit is part of the MCCA’s series of neighborhood exhibitions which celebrate the work of artists across Boston’s varied cityscapes, one neighborhood at a time. South Boston has long been a hub of activity and culture. Some of the work in this exhibition depicts the streets, stores, houses, and architecture of the neighborhood through the perceptive lens of the artists’ lived experience. For viewers familiar with Boston these works highlight how quickly the neighborhood has/is changing. Other works in this exhibition delve into philosophical and sometimes humorous explorations of people and the human body. The artworks in Yesterday Today Tomorrow capture places, moments, and emotions to be experienced anew. This exhibition will be on display through March 10th.
