Sweat to Kick Cancer! On Tuesday, August 21st at 6am at M Street Beach Sweat with O2X to help Jack Kick Cancer! O2X will host a free workout to support 10 year-old Jack Berry, the son of Cooper Berry (a firefighter from Missoula, Montana). Come ready to sweat, bring water and some friends! O2X is inviting all BFD communities to show that the Berry’s have a network of support right here in Boston! You can make a donation here! 

Lemonade Stand! Stop by M Street Park on Tuesday beginning at 10:30am for a delicious cup of lemonade!Sophia and Francis have organized this lemonade stand to raise funds for First Teacher – a parent led school readiness movement! Show your support!  To learn more about First Teacher visit here!

Kids Super-Fun Week! As summer slowly winds down, let the kids have one more week of fun at Mass Bay Credit Union!  During the week of August 20th-August 24th, the kids enjoy some good old fashion fun including ice cream, face painting, magic show, balloon artists and more!  For a full schedule, visit here! 

Lobster Fest! Do you love lobster? Then head to Amrheins for their famous Lobster Fest! Feast on items like Lobster Ravioli, Lobster Rolls, Lobster Pie and Lobster Mac and Cheese! While you’re there try their sangria by the glass or pitcher!

Disco Inferno! The legendary band The Trammps will be on City Hall Plaza for a free concert on Wednesday, August 22nd at 7pm. This will be the final summer concert of the season!

You go girl! The South Boston Boys and Girls Club will host a special Ultimate Self Defense Workshop on Thursday, August 23rd from 6-7:15pm. This fun and interactive event will take place the Curley Community Center open to girls and women ages 8 and up! All participants must sign a waiver (if under 18 a parent must sign). Decorate then eat! The Broadway is hosting a Cupcake Decorating event on Wednesday, August 22nd at 6pm for ages 4-12. Cost is $10 and includes cupcakes, frosting and toppings. 50% of the proceeds goes to the South Boston Boys and Girls Club! To sign up email [email protected] Have dinner before or after!
