Calling all history buffs!  The CIA wants you! The Castle Island Association is looking for some new recruits!  Any type of volunteer help is needed and greatly appreciated! Come learn what it is all about and how to keep history alive in your own backyard!  The Fort is open for free tours on the weekends and Thursday evenings starting Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend.  You can also join and become a CIA member for $10. Southie Traffic Alert: Be advised that commencement for UMass Boston’s Graduate Candidates will take place on campus in the Clark Athletic Center on Thursday, May 26 at 1:00pm – graduate arrival  with a 3:00pm: ceremony start and will end anytime between 5:30pm – 6pm.  UMass anticipates heavy traffic on Morrissey Boulevard and Mt.
