Breakfast down under!  KO Catering & Pies are pleased to announce the launch of breakfast at their KO Southie shop. A unique, Aussie-style, scratch “Brekkie” menu is being served Monday-Friday from 7:00-10:30am for eat-in (15 seats) or take-out! Enjoy Brekkie pie alongside freshly made gourmet breakfast sandwiches and more substantial breakfast plates and of course Vegemite on toast!! All available with strong freshly brewed coffee, builders tea and a few baked goods!

Protect yourself!  BPD is hosting free rape aggression defense (RAD) classes for women. This nationally recognized 9-12 hour course is aimed at providing women the necessary self defense education in a relatively short period of time! Classes will take place at the Tynan School (650 East Fourth Street) on Mondays 6:30pm-8:30pm beginning 3/6 for 4 weeks ending 3/27.  You must sign up in advance by emailing Sgt. Michael Mylett at Michael.Mylett@pd.boston.gov  Be safe, Southie! Here are some helpful tips for staying safe! 

Shop and Support!  On Wednesday, March 8th it’s International Women’s Day!  We say support our Women-owned small businesses in #Southie with some retail therapy!  South Boston is filled with some amazing women-owned and operated businesses from boutiques to fitness studios to salons!

Strength and sweat!  Join East Side Yoga & Fitness for their 2nd Saturday Sweat Open House Series – March edition with Keeping your Balance! Natalie will rock you through a 30 min strength & cardio sweat session followed by 30 min of Vinyasa Flow led by Jessi. Discover the importance of strength training and flexibility, learning how to balance both aspects of your fitness routine. Class takes place from 1-2 pm.  From 12:30-2:30 pm, enjoy 20% off retail and take advantage of our 10-class-pack cash only sale ($135)! All attendees will be entered into a raffle, prizes including a Beautycounter sample pack, a free class at East Side Yoga & Fitness & more! $10 cash, paid at the studio, with 20% of proceeds going to a different charity each month with this month going to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Take a picture!  Dine out Boston (aka Restaurant Week) is back this winter!
