Breath and move! PopUpAsana is excited to announce the launch of our 2016 Park Yoga program, and it’s bigger and better than ever! Be prepared to get your sweat on under sunny skies, meet some new friends and have a lot of FUN! Beginning June 6th, enjoy class at Medal of Honor Park every Monday from 6:15pm to 7:15pm with Jeff Giberti.  REGISTER HERE  Classes run from June 6th through September 26th.  Classes at M Street Park begin June 6th.  Check their website for more fun yoga events!

Fore! Register this week for the annual South Boston Catholic Academy Golf Tournament! This fun event takes place on Monday, June 13th at Granite Links in Quincy, MA and begins at 7am with coffee, bagels and registration followed by a shotgun start at 8am. Price is $200. Paint in the park!  The City of Boston Parks Department is offering a free ParkARTS Watercolor Painting Workshop at Medal of Honor/M Street Park on Saturday, June 10th from 12pm-2pm.  The workshops welcome artists of all skill levels to create their own greenspace-inspired masterpieces with instruction and materials provided.  This summer’s featured instructor is Juleen Jones.  Ms. Jones has a BFA in Fine Art from Montserrat College of Art as well as a custom painting business called The Artist Touch where she transforms rooms with faux and specialty painting, murals, hand painted furniture, refinishing, and more.  Sounds like fun to us!
