Let’s go Skating!  The Perry School is hosting a friends and family skate on Saturday, January 20th from 4pm-6pm at the Murphy Rink!  $5  per person.  $20 per family!  Includes skating, pizza, drinks and hot chocolate!  Free skate rentals available – first some, first served.  Raffles and Prizes.  We also hear Blades from the Boston Bruins will be making an appearance.  All are welcome!

Be informed.  Get involved.  The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services along with the owners of 658 East Seventh Street invite surrounding neighbors of this address to a meeting to discuss a proposed 2 unit addition to an exciting 3 unit building with require parking.  The meeting takes place on Saturday, January 20th at 11am at the Curley Community Center aka the L.

Save the date!  Countdown to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Party will take place on Thursday, January 25th at 6pm-9pm at L Street Tavern.  Come on by and help support the Allied War Veterans and their efforts to raise funds for the parade!

Fight Night!  Dana White and the UFC 220 will be in town on Saturday, January 20th at 6:15pm.  3 local fighters will have bouts.  Kyle “Crash” Bochniak  Calvin Kattar and Rob Font all train in South Boston at Boston Jiu Jitsu.  Bochniak also trains with Southie’s own Peter Welch! There will also be an Open Workout at Reebok Headquarters on Wednesday, January 17 25 Drydock Ave – 2nd Floor Reebok Gym  4:00 – 7:00pm
